North Chattanooga Real Estate
On the north shore of the Tennessee River, North Chattanooga is one of the most eclectic and trendy neighborhoods in the Chattanooga area. Encompassing the original Hill City, as well as Riverview and stretching north to Stuart Heights, you’ll find a great mix of diverse locally-owned businesses. Great shops and restaurants highlight the area. There is plenty to do outside starting with Coolidge and Renaissance Parks along the river linking the north shore and downtown to the Riverwalk by the pedestrian-only Walnut Street Bridge, which was built in 1891. There is always some event or festival going on here. Fun and convenient is the key in North Chattanooga. Housing is primarily older homes; however there are quite a few newer homes on in-fill lots and neighborhoods.
