JONESBORO — With temperatures taking a sudden plunge, the possibility of burst water pipes are on everyone’s mind. Officials are offering tips to help residents avoid the messy and often expensive issue of busted pipes. Pipes that freeze most frequently are those that are exposed to severe cold, like outdoor hose bibs, swimming pool supply lines, water sprinkler lines and water supply pipes in unheated interior areas like basements and crawl spaces, attics, garages or kitchen cabinets. Pipes that run against exterior walls that have little or no insulation are also subject to freezing.

“After living in Evansville, Indiana for 65 of my 67 years, it was more than a little stressful to consider moving 300 miles away, when even moving across town can be anxiety-provoking. Diane’s friendly & professional demeanor truly eased my tension as she helped me find and buy the house I did. She also gave me the names of plumbers, heating & air people etc. to make my adjustment here even easier”.

Diane Evans is extremely knowledgeable about home features, home values and community offerings. She used our time wisely and was very effective at providing useful guidance. In the final stages of the buying process, we felt valued as she communicated often and appropriate. We highly recommend Diane!

My wife & I had not purchased a home in over 35 years. Now, late in life, we found ourselves in need of a home, having retired from pastoring and living in parsonages. We were lost really. Our children wanted us fairly close to them. Our son, a police officer, wanted us in a safe area, but our budget dictated a modest home and modest price. We were tired before we started looking! But God sent Diane Evans to be our guide, advisor, encourager, consultant, protector, and negotiator-WOW! All this i…

Barry Evans displayed extraordinary sensitivity to our unusual circumstances. The estate had to be managed from 1,600 miles away and there were five interested heirs to be involved in each transaction. Barry is a clear effective communicator who helped us through a difficult process.

Diane had answers to all our questions. She was highly professional and we would recommend Diane to our best friends. She dotted all the “i’s & crossed all the “t”s.

Barry has helped us purchase three homes now (more than we intended). We have always enjoyed working with him from the looking to buying stage. He is very patient and an all-around nice guy. We have a great deal of confidence in Barry and the Evans Group in general. Keep up the good work!

We cannot imagine going through this process without the guidance of Barry & Diane. Their instincts about the market are spot on and their results speak for themselves. Thank you for helping us buy and sell our homes.

Barry is the best realtor I have ever worked with. He is very knowledgeable of the Chattanooga Valley and the surrounding areas. Barry was more concerned with what I could afford, wanted, and needed, more than he was concerned with the commission he’d make off the sale. This wasn’t just a transaction to him, but building a relationship with his client.
Nick
Thanks so much for all you did for us to make the sale of our lot go smoothly. We could not have made this happen without your help and expertise.
