New jobs and investment coming to Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -Wednesday’s Mayor’s Business breakfast brought the announcement of new jobs and additional investments coming to the Scenic City.

Emerson Russell, president and CEO of ERMC, announced the addition of 55 new jobs at his company and plans to make additional investments within the city.

ERMC is a Chattanooga-based facilities services company that provides security, maintenance, janitorial and surveillance/monitoring of businesses and facilities.

The company will move a hub center from Kentucky to Chattanooga, creating the new jobs.

The 11th of the annual series, the event brought business and government leaders together.

Mayor Andy Berke told attendees that four years into the Chattanooga Chamber’s goal five-year goal of providing 5,000 new direct jobs, 4,630 jobs have been created.
