Not every home improvement project has to break the bank to make big improvements to the interior look of your home. The easiest way to change the interior look of your home is a fresh coat of paint. The mistake many homeowners make is they pick paint based on price instead of quality. The labor to paint a room is the biggest cost. A very good latex wall paint can usually cover the wall with one coat while cheap paint takes multiple coats. In many cases, that $5 can of paint costs much more than the $20 can of paint after multiple coats are applied to the wall. An excellent tip is to buy good paint as well as the right paint brush.
