This hands-on exhibit consists of 8-10 scenes with up to 60 museum quality and animatronic dinosaurs providing you the opportunity to get close and touch the dinosaurs. Each scene represents dinosaurs from a period of time that best reflects when the dinosaurs lived. The scenes engage you with sight, sound, and motion by using special lighting, sound effects, animatronics, and fog. The backdrops, rocks, flooring, and plant materials are designed to bring you back in time to a landscape where dinosaurs may have lived. Many of our non-moving dinosaurs are throughout the exhibit where you can touch them. Be sure to pick up a map/scavenger hunt sheet at the entrance. The map will guide you through the exhibit and the scavenger hunt will ask you to answer questions about each scene. Kids, once you complete the scavenger hunt, spin the wheel to earn a prize. This is a walk-through exhibit meaning that you can go at your own pace. Tickets (taxes included) – Adults 13yrs & older/$17; Children 2-12 years/$20 EXHIBIT PLUS; Children 2-12 years/$12 EXHIBIT ONLY; Seniors 65+ years/$15; Children 1 & under are free.
